Professional 35mm Film Scanning

Need your 35mm film or slides scanned into beautiful digital copies? I'll professionally process your special pictures into archival-quality scans with the latest imaging technology!
I use high-end products like Plustek's Opticfilm 8100 scanner, Print File's archival storage pages for film, and professional cleaning supplies from B&H's catalog.
For software, I use Silverfast 8, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Negative Lab Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. Certified for both Adobe programs!
Every frame of image on the film gets gently cleaned by wiping with soft anti-static cloth, handled with protective gloves, and topped off with an air-blower (no canned air).
After scanning, each image is color-processed into a positive image, which is white balance and exposure corrected to the best results possible from the original. All dust or scratches that are left-over or "burned" onto the film from the time of picture-taking are removed digitally in PS, retaining maximum detail and delivering stunning results!

Let's Do It
You've shot some fantastic new photos, or have some old family memories you want to unravel, and can't wait to see them! While I don't have a darkroom to develop myself, if you do need your film developed, I use Bay Camera in Savannah, GA, and those charges are added to your order (it's very affordable at their shop, they process in 1-3 days).
Besides them, many labs around the US, big and small, still operate to this day!*
Note! If you develop with mega size companies like CVS, make sure to ask for your negatives back, and you don't need digital scans!
Say "Negatives only" or "Dev Only".
The Process
-
You can ship your film to me, or drop off locally (Savannah, GA).
-
Fill out the order form below! Different pricing exists for different resolutions since they take longer to scan, and you can also add the Restoration Upgrade to get the best out of your pictures right out of the box! Unmodified RAW scans are also available.
-
If choosing the Restoration Upgrade, I'll color process the pictures and send you low resolution, water-marked copies of the pictures to show you the results of the color layout and palettes. This is done to make sure that the "warmth" or "coolness" of an image, it's contrast, or brightness is as you see fit, and then I make the 1 round of final adjustments. Yay!
-
Since the film is cut into rows of 5-6 frames to fit the film tray, the strips are packaged into a complementary Print File archival page.
-
To return your negatives, I will drop off the archival sheet to you locally (Savannah only), or mail it back to you (small fee). If you don't wish to have your negatives back, that's also an option, but definitely NOT recommended.
-
Digital files are stored for 1 week on a website of your choosing (form below) and shared with you through email, iMessage, Whatsapp, however we're communicating. Download your full collection of the images ASAP!
